SHIPPING AND RETURNS

All Instagram and Online orders are shipped twice a week from our storefront in San Francisco via USPS.

 

  • We are more than happy to rush ship items, ship with extra insurance or a signature etc- please email us prior to purchase and we will try our best to accommodate you!
  • Unless specified, Instagram and webshop purchases are flat rate $10,  $15 or $20 depending on weight and distance for Domestic. We ship internationally and that cost varies per destination. Tracking numbers for all shipments are available upon request.
  • Our shipping costs take into consideration USPS rates, packing expenses and time spent on the shipping process. We pack orders in minimal, recyclable shipping supplies, and reuse as much material as possible. 
  • A note about International shipping: We ship USPS international. Once the item has left the post office, it is no longer our responsibility. Many countries hold items in Customs, and international orders tend to have major delays. International shipping from the US is also expensive, and while we keep costs as economical as possible we price shipping at the actual cost.
  •  We are happy to ship however buyer prefers, as long as we are in communication and buyer agrees on covering the cost (DHL, UPS etc).
VACATION IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST, DAMAGED, STOLEN OR ITEMS HELD AT CUSTOMS. We offer shipping as a convenience, and as a courtesy, and as means of survival for us as a small shop. We will always provide tracking and proof of purchase, and we feel terrible when the shipping process fails. Please understand, we cannot refund items that have a tracking number and show as delivered, nor can we refund anything stuck in customs, or lost in the mail.

RETURNS

  • Online items are in excellent condition. Any "as-is" imperfections worth noting will ALWAYS be mentioned in detail within the listing.
  • We DO NOT photoshop, pin or alter the items at all, so the photos are as accurate a representation as possible. All vintage garments are listed AS IS. It is very important that our customer be satisfied with the garment purchased, so please contact us with any questions you have before the item is purchased, as refunds are generally not issued.
  • We will accept a Return for store credit on a case by case basis. Occasionally Vintage garments have flaws that are not noticeable until an item is worn. While we pride ourselves in accurate representation, mistakes happen, and we will ALWAY engage in dialog about a garment and try our best to work it out.
  • We appreciate your understanding- we are a high volume shop - and never will we intentionally sell anything that is unwearable or damaged. 
VACATION is first and foremost a Brick and Mortar storefront, and sometimes a listed item will have sold in the shop. If you purchase an item that is listed but has already sold, we will message you with a full refund. We are trying our best to run two shops and maintain an online store- and sometimes mistakes do happen! Please be patient with us, and we will always do our best to make sure our customers are happy!
